Forced connections
It is a way of combining two unrelated things to form a new product. Here are my forced connection illustrations based on different emotions.

This sofa bed provides convenience and comfort and people sleeping on the couch.
1. Passionate cup: The fire ignites from the cup filled with passion. Not only that it gives us warmth physically, it makes our heart feel warm too.
It was an interesting week as we learned about forced connections. I was fascinated by way of merging two items from different disciplines into one brand new product. However, I learned that sometimes we have to think rationally when merging two objects together. We have to really question out logic whether if this invention is benefitial to everyone. We have to truly understand the purpose of the invention, is it for more convenience, or merely for decorations, and etc.

The combination of desk and chair is often seen in schools and colleges for students. It provides them comfort and easier to take down notes.

2. Sad cup: The sad cup bends downwards, it aches so much from the broken feelings which are unfixable.
3. Brave cup: The brave cup holds its head up high, proudly shielding itself with pointed arrows.
4. Creative cup: The creative cup is shaped like no other.
5. Greedy cup: The greedy cup didn't just want to hold more volume of water in on container, it wants to fill up as much as it can.
6. Hardworking cup: The hardworking cup adds in various extra functions, being able to serve hot and cold liquid of two extremes.
1. Passionate Clock: The passionate clock expresses its love through the shape of a heart.
2. Sad Clock: The sad clock does not even want to hold his head up high, it simply looks at the ground in sorrow.
3. Brave Clock: The brave clock is shaped like a shield, like a brave soldier protecting his homeland.
4. Creative Clock: The creative clock is made out of splatters of paint, showing the close relation of being artistic and creative.
5.Greedy Clock: The greedy clock wants to know all the time zones from different places. that anyone else,
6. Hardworking Clock: The hardworking clock shows the detail information daily,
1. Passionate Mouse: The passionate mouse is shaped like a hand, affectionately gripping onto the user's hand.
2. Sad Mouse: The sad mouse is a mouse with a collar, trapped and losing its freedom.
3. Brave Mouse: The brave mouse can defend itself by whipping its poison ivy vine-like wire.
4. Creative Mouse: The creative mouse has tiny and colourful LED bulbs all over itself. It is useful, at the same time, it is pleasing to watch the lights blinking.
5. Greedy Mouse: The greedy mouse is branched out into several mice because greed resembles excessiveness.
6. Hardworking Mouse: The hardworking mouse has various functions. It shows the weather and temperature, and it also radiates heat to keep the user warm.
1. Passionate Plug: The passionate plug has both its ends curved and attracting each other, this shows their love to one another.
2. Sad Plug: The sad plug is curved downwards to one direction as if it is 'looking down'.
3. Brave Plug: The brave plug has sharp pointed ends and spiky surface
4. Creative Plug: The creative plug has a brush-like head and a plastic case is a box.
5. Greedy Plug: The greedy plug has many components to provide more electricity.
6. Hardworking Plug: The hardworking plug serves two purposes- both plugging into other sockets and being used as a socket.
1. Passionate Computer: The passionate computer is shaped like a heart to show compassion.

4. Creative Computer: The creative computer has an attached easel for art canvas, artists can now refer to their art references from the computer screen while painting.
5. Greedy Computer: The greedy computer has many computer screens connected to one stand.
6. Hardworking Computer: The hardworking computer is multifunctional, it has attached speakers and table light.
1. Passionate Candle: The passionate candle is shaped like a heart to show love.

1. Passionate Pencil: The passionate pencil has squiggly lines spreading to show passion.
2. Sad Pencil: The sad pencil has an umbrella which gives me an image of a gloomy weather and rain pelting down heavily.
3. Brave Pencil: The brave pencil is shaped like a sword of a brave warrior.
4. Creative Pencil: The creative pencil has many pencils branching out, like the process of mind mapping great ideas.
5. Greedy Pencil: The greedy pencil has many pencil heads coming out from one pencil. It is easier to repeat writing the same thing over again with this pencil.
6. Hardworking Pencil: The hardworking pencil can also be used as a ruler.

3. Brave Candle: The brave candle has branches with thorns to protect itself.
4. Creative Candle: The creative candle is placed like a bonfire.
5. Greedy Candle: The greedy candle wants to make the biggest flame ever by arranging many candle heads in a clustered manner.
6. Hardworking Candle: The hardworking candle has many candle heads branching out of a stick candle.
